About Belbeef
Belbeef vzw, founded in 1995, is an interprofessional organisation comprising various links in the meat processing sector. Since 2018, Belbeef has been officially recognised as a Sector Organisation. It is the administrator of the Belbeef Standard, through which the organisation offers a comprehensive certification system for Belgian beef that covers all links in the Belgian beef production chain (‘from farm to fork’).

This system complies with all legal requirements in the areas of food safety, traceability and animal welfare, and brings together all the common requirements of the various customers.
